Here is her story of how Jesus changed her life…

I was raised in a Christian family that very involved in church on a regular basis. My grandfather was a pastor, which made my mom a “p.k.” (Pastor’s kid). My mother took it upon herself to pray that I would marry a man in the ministry. This of course would automatically put me in a place where I would have no control and God would be molding me and preparing me for my future. It wasn’t until I was about 14 years old that I started questioning if God was real. This was about the time my parents divorced and I was an angry and bitter girl. For most of my teenage years I played the game of going to church, getting involved, doing good things. One summer I listened to someone who spoke on sin and how bitterness in my life was sin. I was tired of the weight of my bitterness, anger and unforgiving heart. That summer I let it all go, I laid it all at the feet of Jesus with the help of my friend. God showed me the life I could have with Him if I would just let Him help and take total control. I surrendered all control of my life sixteen years ago. Since then I have been through many struggles and challenges and I have learned that I need to completely depend on Him and Him alone! Being in the Bible daily is a priority for me now and being an example of Christ is what I strive to be!

I am so thankful to be a part of a calling to reach this generation to follow Christ. It has been an amazing time of preparation and prayer! I am committed to be available when God calls and to use my gifts old and new to serve and reach others for His Kingdom!
