Dave Keehn is first and foremost the husband of Debbie and the father of Aimee and Adam. Dave's desire is to nurture his best friend and ministry partner, Debbie, to fulfill God's call on her life and to work together in raising their children to love God and serve others.

A true California boy, Dave Keehn is the Pastor to Youth at South Shores Church in Dana Point, CA. You can often find Dave walking on the beach with his family and their dog, Zorro (a black pug). Dave enjoys long-board surfing and teaching his daughter to boogie board. When Dave is not at the church or the beach you can find him fulfilling a boyhood dream of riding on fire trucks. Dave is a chaplain for the Orange County Fire Authority in Southern California. His last obsession is Disneyland, where he often escapes with his wife and kids to create memories!

Here is his story of how Jesus changed his life…
I was raised attending church with my family. In fact, we went so often that I had to fake being sick just to stay home. I learned very quickly the “religious game”…if I did what they wanted: attended faithfully, memorized Bible verses, etc. – I was rewarded. I became very good at the religious game – until my jr. high years. Playing the same religious game got boring for me and so I challenged God, saying, “If you are real – show me… otherwise – I am tired of playing by these rules and I want a new game!” Jesus answered my challenge by allowing me to experience His presence and power in very real ways. I experienced a peace and a joy in the turbulent teens years that began with a relationship with Jesus. As a 7th grader, I decided to become a fully-devoted follower of Jesus Christ by recognizing my need for His forgiveness and for the hope in life and death that only Jesus can provide. The last 20 years have been an exciting adventure as Jesus has transformed me from a hurting and lonely teenager to a adventuresome and godly young man. Through real lows and struggles to amazing blessings – I have known Jesus both as God, Master and friend; and today I know He is the answer to everyone’s spiritual and life needs.

I am excited and privileged to lead an amazing team of Jesus followers to call this generation to Jesus Christ. I believe Jesus is the True answer people are asking for, and I want to equip and encourage this generation to embrace the heart of God so that this generation would change the world for future generations and God! I will passionately teach from God’s Word every Thursday as we seek together to understand God’ truth and hope for everyday life.
